In the 47th minute, Atilano Paio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Czech Republic players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goritex were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Paio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Danilo Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Goritex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Fernandes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Romeo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goritex's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Colas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Danilo Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Czech Republic's Rigoberto Ur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. The Czech Republic supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Goritex's performance. The match ended with a win for Goritex.
