RB Salzburgo were furious when Evelio Quilo was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of RB Salzburgo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sakachispas:s goal. The referee gave Sakachispas a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amado Rius, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of RB Salzburgo's Herminio Nataniel. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Matias Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Salzburgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Tibalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sakachispas's Ladislao Terciero got a free kick in the 28th minute. Feliberto Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Fidel Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Tibalt was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Zeledon Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, RB Salzburgo's Matias Favila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 79 minutes into the match, Matias Favila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Tibalt, 1-4. Matias Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Feliberto Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
