After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Teofilo Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Teofilo Frasquito made the kick off in the second half. Churqui's Abelardo Claris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Churqui from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Churqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Teofilo Frasquito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Rigoberto Ur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Poncio charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Poncio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Poncio. 89 minutes into the match, Churqui's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Paio came free, but Abelardo Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Teofilo Frasquito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Churqui getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ladislao Pitin hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Czech Republic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
