If Ladislao Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Abalos having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Sauce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Barros came free, but Cristian Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baltasar Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Karlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Julio Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Telo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sauce AFC's Israel Lluques got a free kick in the 31st minute. Baltasar Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 38 played minutes Lucila FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Telesforo. After a rather tough play, Sauce AFC's Israel Lluques got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sauce AFC's Cristian Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sauce AFC from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Abalos having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Baltasar Nevada made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Nevada in the 60th minute of play forced Lucila FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Sauce AFC's Epifanio Karlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baltasar Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Sauce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Ferdinand. Cristian Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Pedroso in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Baltasar Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Lluques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Hilario Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucila FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Epifanio Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Baltasar Abalos, making the score, 0-1. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Barros in the 91st minute of the match. Ladislao Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Cutberto having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Hilario Telesforo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Cutberto. Sauce AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Telesforo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
