Rosario FC's Faustino Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Mede in the 31st minute of play. Anacleto Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Dalmai having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rosario FC defense, Hermengildo Mede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Dalmai. The Rosario FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Dalmai should have stopped the shot. Eustacio Menendo scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Sidro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Hermengildo Mede made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Dalmai. Rosario FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 66th minute, Anacleto Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Dalmai made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Anacleto Venerando sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario FC's zone, Anacleto Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Dalmai came out of the goal and Anacleto Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Remigio Guib got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anacleto Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Faustino Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club booed when Rosario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Venerando struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Faustino Dalmai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club. Faustino Dalmai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Venerando in the 95th minute. The Rosario FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
