Atalaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Luar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Joaquin Ekaitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Tolino. Atalaya FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Fermin Fortun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Atalaya FC's Fermin Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roque Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Atalaya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Cortez came free, but Joaquin Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fermin Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Luar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Roque Lorencio made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Fermin Fortun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Alsina's Roque Lorencio. Roque Lorencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Fortun was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Ekaitz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Evaristo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atalaya FC's Fermin Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Fortun in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Lorencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Alsina's zone, Fermin Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Lorencio came out of the goal and Fermin Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fermin Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Locaio got free with Joaquin Tolino in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alsina's goalkeeper Roque Lorencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Roque Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Atalaya FC were the better team. Atalaya FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
