The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ay Mama que Sabor's Aquiles Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ay Mama que Sabor from getting a goal against them. Martin Etxatxu took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Urko. Aquiles Urko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Martin Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Aquiles Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Etxatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Urko having to make a save. A collision led to Ay Mama que Sabor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Erasmo Dantel hit a great ball. Ay Mama que Sabor's Aquiles Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Obano in the 15th minute of play. Martin Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Urko having to interfere. With his leg Aquiles Urko managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Carlos Paz City's Fulgencio Darien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Martin Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Arnoldo Obano rounded Ay Mama que Sabor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 26th minute, Carlos Paz City's Aureliano Baldovino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquiles Urko. Aquiles Urko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 31 minutes into the game, Aureliano Baldovino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Urko. Aureliano Baldovino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Aquiles Urko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Etxatxu in the 38th minute. Siro Flores's late challenge caught a Carlos Paz City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Flores helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Ay Mama que Sabor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Flores to maneuver through the defense. Martin Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aquiles Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ay Mama que Sabor's Rene Santxol got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ay Mama que Sabor's zone, Martin Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Urko came out of the goal and Martin Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Erasmo Dantel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ay Mama que Sabor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlos Paz City the free kick. Erasmo Dantel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. With his leg Aquiles Urko managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Carlos Paz City's Fulgencio Darien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Darien was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Carlos Paz City got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Obano. In the 54th minute Arnoldo Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Martin Etxatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Paz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Etxatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ay Mama que Sabor's Erasmo Dantel got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Erasmo Dantel off the ground. Aquiles Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Etxatxu in the 61st minute of the match. Martin Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor George hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Martin Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Aaron Papo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Fulgencio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Paz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rdth minute of the game Martin Etxatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ay Mama que Sabor's Aquiles Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Fulgencio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Paz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fulgencio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Urko having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Arnoldo Obano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlos Paz City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Martin Etxatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Paz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Etxatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Paz City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
