Sione's goalkeeper Adan Walme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Corderro. Adan Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliciano Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas FC's Teobaldo Ilazki got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Tadeo Manni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirilo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Adan Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Cirilo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vicente Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Sione's protests and gave Vicente Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes C. A. Sione got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Rojelio. A hard shot 46 in the game by Mariano Corderro from a close distance when the talented Adan Walme managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Sione's players were relieved. Cirilo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Walme having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arnaldo Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Selmo in the 63rd minute of play forced Malvinas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cirilo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas Argentinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirilo Abreu took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Walme. Adan Walme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Adan Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Abreu in the 73rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of C. A. Sione:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malvinas Argentinas FC:s goal. Cirilo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
