The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gualterio Txerran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Benvide having to make a save. The corner led LA ROMA NO!'s Edelmiro Oier to fire away a dangerous shot which Leon Benvide despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustin Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Hermelando kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Arnaldo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, LA ROMA NO! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Amato to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Arnaldo Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Fidel Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes LA ROMA NO! got a freekick which was hit by Roman Ursino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Milian in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Cisco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jacinto Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Leon Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Bartuelo in the 52nd minute. Jacinto Bartuelo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Benvide. Leon Benvide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Jacinto Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Claus during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LA ROMA NO! booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Gualterio Txerran notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Racing Club's Leon Benvide. Leon Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Racing Club's Leon Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Jacinto Bartuelo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Racing Club's Leon Benvide. Leon Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Jacinto Bartuelo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Benvide. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Edelmiro Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Benvide came out of the goal and Edelmiro Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jacinto Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the LA ROMA NO! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leon Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LA ROMA NO! booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Bartuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Leon Benvide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Bartuelo. Gualterio Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leon Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Refugio. When the final whistle sounded LA ROMA NO! left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
