Mauro Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Jonatan Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ramone in the 14th minute of play. Maximino Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Domingos Belo made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, SSV Jahn Regensburg's goalkeeper Domingos Belo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Eufrasio. After having played for 18 minutes, Santo Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Birjaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, SSV Jahn Regensburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Azeari to maneuver through the defense. SSV Jahn Regensburg's Domingos Belo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save SSV Jahn Regensburg from getting a goal against them. Mauro Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Arixo in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonas Ishmael's late challenge caught a Mercedes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Ishmael helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes SSV Jahn Regensburg got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ishmael. 31 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Tajo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingos Belo. Ambrosio Tajo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mauro Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Arixo in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Arixo came free, but Mauro Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mercedes FC's Maximino Eufrasio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingos Belo. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Venancio Tonio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauro Caitano. Mercedes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leandro Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Caitano having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The long shot by Venancio Tonio in the 75th minute really tested Mauro Caitano's skills. Mauro Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Ramones short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Mauro Caitano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Venancio Tonio in the 85th minute really tested Mauro Caitano's skills. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSV Jahn Regensburg reached it. Domingos Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Gartzen in the 95th minute of play. Many of SSV Jahn Regensburg's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SSV Jahn Regensburg may have spent more time on the ball, but Mercedes FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
