Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Txartiko took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th minute, Hector Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Oriol in the 10th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Leon Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cayetano Oriol got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leon Benvide was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Jacindo. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cayetano Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arenaza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Oriol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Benvide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Txartiko took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Benvide. Leon Benvide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Arnaldo Milian took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emiliano Donzel to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Agustin Barbosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Emiliano Donzel however easily saved by the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Marcial Panpili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arenaza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. After 44 played minutes Arenaza FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Panpili. If Arnaldo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Milian to make the kick off. Arenaza FC's Emiliano Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Barbosa in the 55th minute of play. Arnaldo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Donzel having to interfere. Leon Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Txartiko in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Milian in the 66th minute of play forced Arenaza FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emiliano Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Donzel having to interfere. Norberto Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leon Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Marciano Vitin got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 91st minute, when Arenaza FC's Basilio Mosen after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Leon Benvide in Racing Club's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Arnaldo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
