When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Norberto Txartiko took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lisandro Ler to make any attempt to save it. If Cayetano Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ler having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Txartiko to make the kick off. The supporters of Arenaza FC booed when Despedida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Arenaza FC's Basilio Mosen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Ler narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
