Club Altetico Arcangel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes FC the free kick. The referee ignored Club Altetico Arcangel's protests and gave Adrian Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Altetico Arcangel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ulises Bieito, was totally fooled by Mercedes FC's Nicasio Barbosa, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. There was no doubt that Club Altetico Arcangel were the better team. Club Altetico Arcangel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
