After 20 minutes, Federico Jayvier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruce FC and the Cuquero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kiko Van Hansewyck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Jayvier in the 24th minute of the match. Federico Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Van Hansewyck having to interfere. Kiko Van Hansewyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, 马昂兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Camilo Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuquero's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Argider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, 马昂兴 made a precise shot to the right of Arsenio Astigar. Bruce FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 马昂兴 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 马昂兴 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, 马昂兴 made a precise shot to the right of Arsenio Astigar. Bruce FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Arsenio Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 马昂兴, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, 马昂兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuquero's supporters crossed their fingers, but 马昂兴 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Bruce FC's goal looked a bit too open when 马昂兴 came free, but Arsenio Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuquero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
