In the 3rd minute, Alberta FC's Julio Salamon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Julio Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Astor Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pablo Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rafael Aguirre fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatimozín AFC's protests and gave Rafael Aguirre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guatimozín AFC's Rafael Aguirre got a free kick in the 18th minute. Benjamin Havier made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alberta FC's Ermegildo Poz. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Julio Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alberta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Salamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Albino Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Leandro Koldobika took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Albino Mateus to make any attempt to save it. During the 39th minute of the match Rafael Aguirre completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rafael Aguirre a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th match minute, Guatimozín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. If Julio Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberta FC's Astor Oskarbi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Mateus. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Julio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute Julio Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Astor Oskarbi made a precise shot to the right of Albino Mateus. Guatimozín AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 90th match minute, Guatimozín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Musko to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Marcial Osoitz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Guatimozín AFC's Emilio Sergi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 93 minutes, Julio Salamon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alberta FC and the Guatimozín AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Salamon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Albino Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alberta FC fully deserved thier win.
