Albino Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Beltxe in the 8th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Guatimozín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Ursino came free, but Albino Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Godfredo Bento fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatimozín AFC's protests and gave Godfredo Bento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Guatimozín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Bento to maneuver through the defense. If Edgard Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Ambrosio Lertxun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guatimozín AFC and the Payogasta F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Pablo Musko made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Tajo. Payogasta F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Edgard Beltxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Albino Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Mateus came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Payogasta F.C's Edgard Beltxe. But to his dismay, Edgard Beltxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Edgard Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albino Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Albino Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Beltxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Pablo Musko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Payogasta F.C's Agustin Tajo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cayetano Ursino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Mateus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Albino Mateus didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. 64 minutes into the game, Carlos Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatimozín AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Payogasta F.C the free kick. In the 64th minute, Carlos Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Mateus having to interfere. Guatimozín AFC's Albino Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Beltxe in the 91st minute of play. Cayetano Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Albino Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
