Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pablo Musko got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Joaquin Matia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Mateus. Guatimozín AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Matia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Joaquin Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Guatimozín AFC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Perpinya. In the 14th minute, Pablo Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Matia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Apóstoles FC's Melchor Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Benino in the 28th minute of play. Ambrosio Lertxun charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Lertxun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ambrosio Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Atilano Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Mateus having to interfere. When Joaquin Matia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Apóstoles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Matia couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Matia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guatimozín AFC's zone, Joaquin Matia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Mateus came out of the goal and Joaquin Matia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Atilano Lorencio made the kick off in the second half. Guatimozín AFC's Albino Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Lorencio in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Apóstoles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Gombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Melchor Gilabert made a huge save. After having played for 69 minutes, Joaquin Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apóstoles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guatimozín AFC made a substitution. Emilio Sergi replaced Edgard Lluis. 75 minutes into the game, Joaquin Matia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albino Mateus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Amado Gaueko fired a really elegant long shot, but Melchor Gilabert threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 80th minute Pablo Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abelardo Gombal fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatimozín AFC's protests and gave Abelardo Gombal a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guatimozín AFC! With his leg Melchor Gilabert managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Guatimozín AFC's Pablo Musko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albino Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Matia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apóstoles FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guatimozín AFC for a fine match.
