República FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Liher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. República FC's Cristo Gar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evelio Tartalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Gomesano to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Toroyaco FC's goalkeeper Evelio Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Pello. In the 57th minute, Cristo Gar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Gar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evelio Tartalo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristo Gar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Evelio Tartalo made a huge save. Abelardo Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Evelio Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Gar got free with Evelio Tartalo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximino Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Gomesano in the 77th minute of play. Abelardo Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Tartalo having to interfere. Toroyaco FC's Evelio Tartalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Toroyaco FC from getting a goal against them. Cristo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
