A.S Primera Junta's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Kinsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chaco's goalkeeper Leonel Acevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Gartzen. Hugo Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Pereyra having to interfere. If Hugo Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of A.S Primera Junta booed when Deportivo Chaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Acevedo having to interfere. A collision led to A.S Primera Junta getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nicolas Santio hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Deportivo Chaco got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Ortzi. When Apolo Kinsen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the A.S Primera Junta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Kinsen couldn't finish the play. Apolo Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leonel Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Acevedo having to interfere. Gavino Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match, Gavino Paez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felipe Pereyra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chaco's Gavino Paez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Pereyra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Felipe Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Chaco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
