When Nicolas Santio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S Primera Junta's protests and gave Nicolas Santio a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes A.S Primera Junta got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Santio. Gavino Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as The Strokes FC's Wilfredo Quintun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felipe Pereyra. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Wilfredo Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Pereyra having to interfere. Wilfredo Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Felipe Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Gartzen took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Gaspard. Gavino Gaspard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Santio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Gaspard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.S Primera Junta's Felipe Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Quintun in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Quintun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jeremias Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S Primera Junta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute Uriel Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Quintun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Felipe Pereyra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 minutes, Uriel Chepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Strokes FC and the A.S Primera Junta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes The Strokes FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Chepe. In the 78th minute of the match, Jeremias Gartzen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gavino Gaspard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A.S Primera Junta's Apolo Kinsen got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jeremias Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felipe Pereyra came out of the goal and Uriel Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
