In the 10th minute Leonel Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Jeremias Gartzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ovidio Prejun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felipe Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Constantino Gartzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Pereyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Carmelo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S Primera Junta's goalkeeper Felipe Pereyra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Kinsen in the 36th minute of the match. Felipe Pereyra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Gartzea's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jeremias Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The A.S Primera Junta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CADU de Zarate were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Kinsen made a kick off. When Carmelo Valente fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CADU de Zarate's protests and gave Carmelo Valente a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes CADU de Zarate got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Valente. Constantino Gartzeas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Felipe Pereyra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 66 minutes on the clock, Nereo Hondo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of CADU de Zarate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aquilino Matthew placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carmelo Valente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Pereyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Gartzen in the 76th minute of play forced CADU de Zarate's goalkeeper Ovidio Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Pereyra having to interfere. When Constantino Gartzea fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CADU de Zarate's protests and gave Constantino Gartzea a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CADU de Zarate! Carmelo Valente was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. CADU de Zarate's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carmelo Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Felipe Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CADU de Zarate's Carmelo Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The A.S Primera Junta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CADU de Zarate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
