CADU de Zarate's Ovidio Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Cugat in the 22nd minute of play. Lucas Cugat hit a great ball. Constantino Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Cesaro having to interfere. After 33 played minutes CADU de Zarate got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Martxelin. In the 35th minute, Anibal Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Maximino Cesaro managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when CADU de Zarate's Constantino Gartzea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carmelo Valente scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Cesaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximino Cesaro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Constantino Gartzea sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Gartzea in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Cesaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Gartzea to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes, República FC's Isaac Liher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Prejun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in República FC reached it. Ricardo Martxelin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Constantino Gartzea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CADU de Zarate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Constantino Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind República FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, República FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Gartzea came free, but Maximino Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Abelardo Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot. República FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Cugat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Leon Lorien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Cesaro having to interfere. Carmelo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in República FC's zone, Leonel Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Cesaro came out of the goal and Leonel Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Constantino Gartzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but República FC's Maximino Cesaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Constantino Gartzea, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maximino Cesaro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ricardo Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. República FC's Maximino Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Gartzea in the 87th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Carmelo Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but República FC's Maximino Cesaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Constantino Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CADU de Zarate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Gartzea couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CADU de Zarate's Ovidio Prejun got control of the ball when Abelardo Cugat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
