Thanks to some nice moves Carolo Gimenez could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Teodosio Abeitia however easily saved by the left post. Nicolas Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Los Frutales got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Gimenez. Nicolas Ixona hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Teodosio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Teodosio Abeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Gimenez in the 21st minute. Los Frutales's Gavino Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Estevez in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Gilberto Belasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Frutales and the Espora players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Frutales's Gilberto Belasko got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gavino Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Clodio in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Alfredo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Gimenez got free with Teodosio Abeitia in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 39 minutes, Carolo Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Frutales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Espora's goalkeeper Teodosio Abeitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Gimenez. If Eleuterio Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 46 played minutes Espora got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Bartoleme. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Estevez to make the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Espora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Ixona to maneuver through the defense. If Eleuterio Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Espora booed when Los Frutales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Belasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Belasko hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alfredo Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gavino Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carolo Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Espora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
