In the 15th minute, Elvio Ulizes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Nicholas having to interfere. Timoteo Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pampita's Sixto Pierres got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Danilo Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Eudoxio in the 24th minute of play. When Timoteo Eudoxio came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pampita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Eudoxio couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Nastasios short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Gualterio Nicholas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Pampita were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Ulizes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Círculo Tolosano's Danilo Acosta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Círculo Tolosano from getting a goal against them. If Eduardo Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Nastasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Nastasio ran back to his position shaking his head. Pampita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
