Edgard Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Guido Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Escriña's Baltasar Oso got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ramona's Alejandro Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escriña's goalkeeper Evelio Banegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramona's Edgard Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Pere in the 24th minute of play. Santiago Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Escriña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Nafarroa helped the player get up and apologised. Santiago Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Mosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escriña the free kick. Americo Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edgard Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Beremundo's late challenge caught a Escriña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Beremundo helped the player get up and apologised. If Teo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Eleuterio Mosen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramona's goalkeeper Edgard Rencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Rencio having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Jacob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Nesor in the 55th minute of play forced Ramona's goalkeeper Edgard Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Americo Gumaro scored to the left of an out of position Edgard Rencio, making the score, 0-1. Edgard Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Gaizko in the 62nd minute of play. With 73 minutes on the clock, Eusebio Ermengol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, Eusebio Ermengol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Quilino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Banegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Edgard Rencio came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Escriña's Americo Gumaro. But to his dismay, Americo Gumaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Escriña made a substitution. Natalio Irrintzi replaced Emiliano Gaizko. Escriña's Aaron Montrel was substituted for Americo Gumaro. Evelio Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Mosen in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Alejandro Quilino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramona and the Escriña players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ramona's Alejandro Quilino got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 93 played minutes Escriña got a freekick which was hit by Guido Porfirio. Eleuterio Mosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Evelio Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Irrintzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Rencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Escriña's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
