The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sepultura's Segundo Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernardo Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Erlantz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Vidal having to make a save. The corner led Sepultura's Raimundo Izotz to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Vidal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 35 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Guillelmus. Segundo Erlantz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bernardo Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepultura. After 46 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Guillelmus. Raul Neto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Gaizko made a kick off. Bernardo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Gaizko in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Eskuin got free with Bernardo Vidal in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Segundo Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sepultura's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Erlantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Bernad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Vidal. GiuFa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sepultura's Segundo Erlantz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Vidal. Bernardo Vidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ricardo Paio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in GiuFa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Anacleto Brais hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ceferino Gaizko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Bernardo Vidal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. GiuFa FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Segundo Erlantz 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Segundo Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
