Ermegildo Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Jesco having to interfere. If Marcial Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Nuñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Jesco made a huge save. Jaime Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Baladi in the 21st minute of the match. Edgard Ospin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires Sur's Severo Munio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Buenos Aires Sur's Jaime Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Baladi in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Edelmiro Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Buenos Aires Sur booed when Kevhyn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Melquiades Oier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kevhyn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires Sur the free kick. Melquiades Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Ilixo in the 47th minute of play forced Kevhyn AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
