Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5476, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Cafayete FC's Mariano Stephen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celedonio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ramon Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Cafayete FC defense, Baldomero Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Santana. The Cafayete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Santana should have stopped the shot. If Baldomero Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Ado in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ramon Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Baldomero Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Barbosa got free with Marcial Estefan in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Evaristo Edur was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Baldomero Ado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Santana having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Marin in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morse's Fernando Marin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cafayete FC's Fabricio Vargas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Baldomero Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Santana having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Ado to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ramon Santana made a huge save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cafayete FC's goalkeeper Ramon Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomero Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ramon Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Baldomero Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Morse's Fernando Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Vargas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Baldomero Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Santana having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Fabricio Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Ado in the 81st minute of play. When Mariano Stephen came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Cafayete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Stephen couldn't finish the play. Morse's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
