An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Cordareo in the 42nd minute of play forced Que aguante Matador's goalkeeper Juan Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Que aguante Matador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Vitin was slow to take the kick. During this time Newells De Rosario's players had a chance to rest.
