Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonides Filipo made the kick off which started today's match. Aurelio Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Bide having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Justino Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonides Filipo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bonifacio Artal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viva Peron. In the 23rd minute, Aurelio Procopio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Justino Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jeronimo Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Aurelio Procopio made a precise shot to the right of Bonifacio Artal. Tobar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tobar's zone, Aurelio Procopio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Artal came out of the goal and Aurelio Procopio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Bide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Gelacio in the 44th minute. Albano Rocendo's late challenge caught a Tobar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Rocendo helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Viva Peron got a freekick which was hit by Albano Rocendo. In the 48th minute Tobar were awarded a corner. Amador Venceslao went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amador Venceslao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viva Peron's Luisito Bide did a great save. After the first half Viva Peron were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Justino Polentzi made the kick off in the second half. When Albano Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Viva Peron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Rocendo couldn't finish the play. If Leonides Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viva Peron's Aurelio Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Asier charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Asier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Tobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Asier to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Aurelio Procopio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tobar's Bonifacio Artal. Bonifacio Artal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobar's Bonifacio Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Filipo in the 68th minute of play. Aurelio Procopio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Bonifacio Artal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aurelio Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Gelacio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Luisito Bide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobar. Viva Peron's Leonides Filipo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-4 became the score in the 82nd minute when Leonides Filipo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Tobar's Bonifacio Artal got control of the ball when Aurelio Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Filipo scored 0-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Artal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Tobar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viva Peron were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
