Juan Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes, Que aguante Matador's Aureliano Guerrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermengildo Firmin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Que aguante Matador reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Bartuelo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. San Nicolas del Carril's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Ixaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. San Nicolas del Carril's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Que aguante Matador the free kick. The supporters of Que aguante Matador booed when San Nicolas del Carril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
