When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Aurelio Procopio put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guaberto Ponc. Albino Sidro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Sidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albino Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Guaberto Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Procopio went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bochum 1848's goalkeeper Guaberto Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Elequemedo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Filipo in the 26th minute of play forced Bochum 1848's goalkeeper Guaberto Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Bochum 1848 got a freekick which was hit by Angel Elequemedo. If Leonides Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viva Peron's Aurelio Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Jaunti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viva Peron's Albano Rocendo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Filipo in the 57th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Aurelio Procopio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viva Peron and the Bochum 1848 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Aurelio Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ponc having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Bochum 1848 got a freekick which was hit by Angel Elequemedo. In the 68th minute of the match, Aurelio Procopio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guaberto Ponc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Victorino Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Luisito Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Bide having to interfere. Cecilio Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luisito Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Viva Peron's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Santana came free, but Luisito Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Jaunti in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Viva Peron left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bochum 1848.
