The referee showed Cosme Louis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Ado in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Naike saved SALERNITANA from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Fernando Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Naike. SALERNITANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Marin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 41st minute Fernando Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morse had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
