Que aguante Matador's Ceferino Cuarto got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Gelacio struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Juan Gonsalvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobar. In the 19th minute Arsenio Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Aurelio Gelacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
