The audience was convinced that Victorino Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Gonsalvo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Victorino Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ponc having to interfere. Alonzo Ayala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Bochum 1848's Cecilio Jaunti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Gonsalvo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victorino Santana scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Gonsalvo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Jaunti in the 30th minute of play. Amado Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Juan Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Guaberto Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Elequemedo's late challenge caught a Que aguante Matador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Elequemedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bochum 1848's Angel Elequemedo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Cecilio Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bochum 1848 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Juan Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Santana in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Cuarto to make the kick off. Cecilio Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Juan Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Ceferino Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Bochum 1848 got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Jaunti. Guaberto Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Cuarto in the 57th minute of the match. Edgardo Grabiel hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Que aguante Matador's goalkeeper Juan Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Cuarto went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Guaberto Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Cuarto in the 68th minute of the match. Guaberto Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Cuarto in the 70th minute of play. Juan Gonsalvo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Victorino Santana sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Que aguante Matador's goalkeeper Juan Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Que aguante Matador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Igor Dolcet hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Bochum 1848's Cecilio Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Gonsalvo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cecilio Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Juan Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bochum 1848 booed when Que aguante Matador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Ceferino Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
