The audience was convinced that Maximino Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Ospin was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, L’ quipe Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Primeiro came free, but Ciprian Minteuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Ospin having to interfere. Maximino Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes, L’ quipe Soccer's Cleto Olando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Ospin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in L’ quipe Soccer reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Clodoveo Quirze made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Omar Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervit0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Primeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Omar Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuervit0's Norberto Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Sasoin in the 68th minute of play. Norberto Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Matai in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cuervit0's Adan Eron got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nereo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Christian Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, one of Cuervit0:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuervit0. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for L’ quipe Soccer. Maximino Matai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Norberto Ospin. 2-0. When Christian Bernaldo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored L’ quipe Soccer's protests and gave Christian Bernaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes L’ quipe Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Christian Bernaldo. 89 minutes into the match, Nereo Paio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Ospin. Cuervit0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Paio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Maximino Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Ospin was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Norberto Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Maximino Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Maximino Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Ospin was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. If Maximino Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. L’ quipe Soccer had played much better football throughout.
