Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Matai in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Punta Alta Team's zone, Maximino Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Otsando came out of the goal and Maximino Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

L’ quipe Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Otsando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apolo Sasoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleto Olando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Otsando. Punta Alta Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Sasoin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 78th playminute.
