Fernando Bikendi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Punta Alta Team's Pedro Ortle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 5 played minutes Punta Alta Team got a freekick which was hit by Damian Oskarbi. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Romeo Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olavarría's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Lluc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Otsando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes of play, Punta Alta Team's Pedro Ortle made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Bikendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Severiano Firman fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Alta Team's protests and gave Severiano Firman a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Elorri during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Otsando was a little too slow when Melquiades Pepillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Aurelio Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Bikendi having to interfere. When Punta Alta Team's Christian Txaran in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olavarría's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Melquiades Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Otsando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Punta Alta Team's Pedro Ortle got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Pepillo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aurelio Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Pepillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Otsando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Olavarría was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Bikendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Txaran went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Olavarría's Fernando Bikendi got control of the ball when Christian Txaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Bikendi having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Punta Alta Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
