Guiñazú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Peter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eriberto Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Hermelando having to interfere. Atlético Santa Clara played a much better game than Guiñazú FC and deserved their victory. The Guiñazú FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
