The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Frantzes in the 22nd minute of play forced Cuervit0's goalkeeper Norberto Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Ospin having to interfere. Julian Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Norberto Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Clis in the 30th minute of the match. Adan Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Nereo Ranolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vertientes AFC and the Cuervit0 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nereo Ranolfo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Santo Giraldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Lluterio. Vertientes AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Quirze was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervit0's goalkeeper Norberto Ospin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albino Quinto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cuervit0 booed when Vertientes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Quirze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Silverio Lluterio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes Cuervit0 got a freekick which was hit by Santo Giraldo. After having played for 78 minutes, Julio Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertientes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vertientes AFC booed when Cuervit0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Vertientes AFC defense, Omar Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Lluterio. The Vertientes AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Lluterio should have stopped the shot.
