Maximino Matai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Mariano Hermelando made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Clara's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Paio came free, but Mariano Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Maximino Matai took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Hermelando. Mariano Hermelando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mariano Hermelando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Sasoin in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Clara's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Matai came free, but Mariano Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Matai in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Atlético Santa Clara defense, Christian Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Hermelando. The Atlético Santa Clara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Hermelando should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Christian Bernaldo made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Hermelando. Atlético Santa Clara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 27th minute, Nereo Paio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Hermelando. The goal made the score 4-0. Atlético Santa Clara's Mariano Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Matai in the 31st minute of play. Christian Bernaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Hermelando came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Bernaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 32nd minute. Mariano Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atlético Santa Clara's Bonifacio Shepherd got a free kick in the 37th minute. German Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Uriel Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Matai charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Matai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Txema was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Maximino Matai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Hermelando was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 57th minute, Uriel Txema got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Matai scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Hermelando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciprian Minteuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Christian Bernaldo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ladislao Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Minteuan having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, L’ quipe Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Txema came free, but Ciprian Minteuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mariano Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Matai in the 81st minute of the match. Nereo Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Clara's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Sasoin came free, but Mariano Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Maximino Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Atlético Santa Clara got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Estevon. Mariano Hermelando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Paio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. L’ quipe Soccer's Ciprian Minteuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save L’ quipe Soccer from getting a goal against them. Hugo Formerio charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Formerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlético Santa Clara booed when L’ quipe Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. L’ quipe Soccer fully deserved thier win.
