Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bertus Achterberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Lázaro Elorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Paraní's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timao CF the free kick. 3 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Paraní:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Timao CF a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danilo Sazon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon. 0-1. Bertus Achterberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Paolo Ordono made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Alfonso Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Gotzon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jairo Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Rios in the 18th minute of the match. Jairo Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Incendio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Gotzon came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Timao CF's Cipriano Uhin. But to his dismay, Cipriano Uhin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Lázaro Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Timao CF booed when Club Atlético Paraní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertus Achterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bertus Achterberg got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Club Atlético Paraní. 43 minutes into the game, Aldo Incendio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jairo Gotzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Rios made a kick off. Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Paraní from getting a goal against them. If Bertus Achterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Elorri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Ordono having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Jairo Gotzon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Danilo Sazon made a great header on Timao CF's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon managed to reach the ball for a save. Lázaro Elorri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Ordono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Jairo Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Lohitzun in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Timao CF's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Elorri came free, but Paolo Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Incendio during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Timao CF got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Incendio. With a little luck, Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon got control of the ball when Cipriano Uhin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Club Atlético Paraní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Benet to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Uhin came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jairo Gotzon could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Timao CF's Aldo Incendio got a free kick in the 85th minute. Paolo Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertus Achterberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Paraní's goalkeeper Jairo Gotzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Incendio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertus Achterberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Timao CF's goalkeeper Paolo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfonso Rios came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Timao CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Rios couldn't finish the play.
