After 14 played minutes Vertientes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Ranolfo. Silverio Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vertientes AFC's Silverio Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Paio in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Matai in the 20th minute of play forced Vertientes AFC's goalkeeper Silverio Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vertientes AFC's zone, Nereo Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Lluterio came out of the goal and Nereo Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Lluterio having to interfere. With a little luck, L’ quipe Soccer's Ciprian Minteuan got control of the ball when Julian Bernebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, L’ quipe Soccer's goalkeeper Ciprian Minteuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Bernebe. In the 32nd match minute, L’ quipe Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Tiso to maneuver through the defense. L’ quipe Soccer's Ciprian Minteuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save L’ quipe Soccer from getting a goal against them. Julian Bernebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ciprian Minteuan made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Christian Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to L’ quipe Soccer getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Christian Bernaldo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Joaquin Maura from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Ciprian Minteuan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Matai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Julio Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Minteuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justo Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mateo Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertientes AFC's protests and gave Mateo Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of L’ quipe Soccer booed when Vertientes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nereo Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vertientes AFC's Joaquin Maura got a free kick in the 70th minute. Julio Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciprian Minteuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Bernebe in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes L’ quipe Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Christian Bernaldo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Abad during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of L’ quipe Soccer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vertientes AFC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Frantzes in the 81st minute of play forced L’ quipe Soccer's goalkeeper Ciprian Minteuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Cleto Olando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silverio Lluterio skillfully saved the ball. Silverio Lluterio came out of the goal and Nereo Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes of play, L’ quipe Soccer's Maximino Matai made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Lluterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Apolo Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silverio Lluterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Vertientes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Matai came free, but Silverio Lluterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. L’ quipe Soccer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
