The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Agustin Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Lastur in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Veronica during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximiliano Sadurni was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and 范兴榕 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 范兴榕 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Baldomero Santo made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Diego Henric. Agustin Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Sanches having to interfere. The supporters of Los Teros booed when Club Atlético Lavalia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Teros's Denílson Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Artaldo in the 27th minute of play. Rosendo Guillelmo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Guillelmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Maximiliano Sadurni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Club Atlético Lavalia's Agustin Lastur got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lavalia's Claudio Cedro got a free kick in the 35th minute. Zacarias Anaya struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Maximiliano Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Teros. In the 38th minute, Teofilo Isidor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximiliano Sadurni. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Teofilo Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Teros's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Isidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Teofilo Isidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Artaldo was the one to do the kick off. After 54th play minutes Bernardino Artaldo shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Denílson Sanches and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Artaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Sanches was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Maximiliano Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Diego Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Teros's Leopoldo Delfino was substituted for Diego Henric. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Teros's goalkeeper Denílson Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Club Atlético Lavalia got a freekick which was hit by Placido Bento. Maximiliano Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Isidor in the 83rd minute of play. Teofilo Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Maximiliano Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Isidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Maximiliano Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Los Teros players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
