The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deportivo Yo's Sixto Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Goito in the 4th minute of play. Higinio Leobardo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sixto Martxelin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Goito's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Sixto Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Martxelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Goito in the 14th minute of the match. When Domingos Mikelats fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Yo's protests and gave Domingos Mikelats a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Santio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Yo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Leobardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Higinio Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Maximo Isauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Yo. 58 minutes into the game, Sergio Gutxi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Yo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figaro FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Higinio Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Yo's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Leobardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amadeo Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Figaro FC's zone, Higinio Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Isauro came out of the goal and Higinio Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Leobardo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Isauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Dalmacio Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Maximo Isauro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Yo's Federico Confesor. But to his dismay, Federico Confesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Higinio Leobardo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maximo Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Leobardo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Deportivo Yo's Higinio Leobardo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figaro FC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Amadeo Santio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Maximo Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Deportivo Yo's Higinio Leobardo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figaro FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Higinio Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Yo fully deserved thier win.
