With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luisito Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Barto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adrian Gregory's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Ixidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Cleto Lawrence fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warnes AFC's protests and gave Cleto Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Lawrence hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Basilio Barto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warnes AFC and the Lagunillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Gregory to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Gregory struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Teobaldo Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagunillas. The supporters of Lagunillas booed when Warnes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Lagunillas's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Quintin came free, but Nicolas Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Justino Ordono fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagunillas's protests and gave Justino Ordono a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Virgilio Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warnes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Quintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Tuste charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Tuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lagunillas booed when Warnes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A hard shot 85 in the game by Adrian Gregory from a close distance when the talented Teobaldo Ixidor managed to make a qualified save. Warnes AFC's players were relieved. The Lagunillas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lagunillas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
