Herminio Luzea came out of the goal and Virgilio Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Florencio Sergi made the kick off in the second half. If Florencio Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Ciceron had several of the la guardia vieja's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Justo Olo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Justo Olo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Ciceron in the 71st minute. Ernesto Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristobal Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Aberdeen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Ciceron couldn't finish the play. Florencio Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
