With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Luzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute of the match Leonardo Txartiko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Luzea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Aberdeen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Figaro FC:s goal. Leonardo Txartiko walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Maximo Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With an all-out effort, Figaro FC's Herminio Luzea threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmacio Goito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute, Dalmacio Goito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Goito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Luzea was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Rodolfo Orzaize who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Herminio Luzea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Aberdeen FC's Herminio Luzea got control of the ball when Rodolfo Orzaize tried to sneak it across the goal line.
