After 7 played minutes, Armenian Power's Nestor Joachim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Naldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armenian Power reached it. After 9 minutes of play, Armenian Power's Santos Orti made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Naldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 15 minutes on the clock, Lino Aznar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 15th match minute, Galisteo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Medero's late challenge caught a Armenian Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Medero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Armenian Power booed when Galisteo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armenian Power's Victorio Ganix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Armenian Power from getting a goal against them. Herminio Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Ganix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herminio Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26thth minute of the game Herminio Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armenian Power's Victorio Ganix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorio Ganix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Medero in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Galisteo's Herminio Arce made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Ganix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Faustino Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Naldo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Armenian Power's zone, Herminio Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Ganix came out of the goal and Herminio Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galisteo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
