The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 4 minutes on the clock, Baldomero Servando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 3rd minute, one of Wacamole FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wacamole FC. Baltasar Theobald went to the wrong direction when Raul Jusepe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Baltasar Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Wacamole FC's Matias Txilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Dolcet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Paublo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Baltasar Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Garaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Baltasar Theobald made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Wacamole FC's Cornelio Mirande got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Wacamole FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Tristan to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Theobald having to interfere. Eduardo Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wacamole FC's zone, Lorenzo Garaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Theobald came out of the goal and Lorenzo Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Txilar made a kick off. Eduardo Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Paublo in the 53rd minute. Cornelio Mirande struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Eduardo Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wacamole FC. Wacamole FC's Baltasar Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Urritz in the 60th minute of play. Marcelino Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baltasar Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wacamole FC's Geronimo Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Matias Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Wacamole FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Txilar couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Jordy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Theobald. Wacamole FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matias Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wacamole FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
